"All that we are is the result of what we have thought.  The mind is everything.  What we think we become."
-Siddhartha Gautama

Blissfully Inspiring

For the past two years, I've been on a journey.  A journey of recovery, self-analysis, and change.
While writing and reading the last sentence, it seems like its been an easy ride.   In reality, it's been a struggle, and an ongoing one at that.  I set a time, but it's been more than two years.  It started beforehand, but like many, I was in denial.

In the last two years, I'll admit that I haven't been taking these giant leaps, instead, I've been taking baby steps.
Looking back on what I've accomplished in the last year alone, it brings a smile to my face.
Life might not be perfect because if it were, we wouldn't be here to experience it.

"If you're going through hell, keep going."
-Winston Churchill

A Dose of Inspiration
Start by doing what's necessary;
then do what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible."
-Francis of Assisi
In all honesty, it doesn't matter how long it takes, don't quit.  I know it's easier said than done, but at the end of the day,  you won't be full of regret and asking yourself the same question "what if".  I know it's tough, I know how impatient you'll get, trust me the struggle is real.
Chasing any of your dreams is well worth it, regardless of what people tell you.  Don't listen to the 'negative nancies', do what you have to do, to get to where you need to be.
I'm a fan of many of Sir Winston Churchill's quotes, and this is one that I keep repeating every damn day:
"This is no time for ease and comfort.  It is time to dare and endure."

Just make it happen

If you’re bored with your life, change the routine!  You’re the only one who can.
Go out, explore and don’t let society’s distorted image chain you up!  You are worthy of all that you desire.  Not in an ego trip sort of way.  Change your mindset, change your life.  You don’t like something, than you have the power to change it.  Every time you resist positive change for your benefit, you let a little piece of you die.
Don’t leave this earth regretting the possibilities you didn’t take.
Make things happen.  Live to the fullest, laugh until your belly hurts and love every moment and every breath you take.

You are magnificent!

Starting your day off right!

I absolutely love listening to her!
She always brings such a smile to my face, and in reality, you don't need to listen to her when you're feeling a bit down, listen to her every day as a constant reminder that "You are the m&*^f&*^ s^%$!!!!"
Give a compliment
We don't know what people are going through...
There are more than 7 billion people in this world.  There are people you will meet, whether at the gym, supermarket or kiosk.  We don't know what people go through on a daily basis.  It costs you nothing to be nice and give a compliment to someone.
Just think how it makes you feel when someone compliments you on something.  It brings a smile to your face, doesn't it?  So why not spread the love and bring a smile to someone else's face?!

"Love encompasses the essence of all that we aspire to in life; to love and be loved."

-Estee "The Coach" Levinson

We made it through January
Woohoo, we made it through January.
The first month of 2018 was a bit iffy.  I mean it was really a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and I wasn't the only one who felt it.
I'm just going to blame it on that saucy minx; the moon!  You see in January we were blessed with two full moons.  Yup, that's right, not one but two. , and the one we experienced on the 31st of January was a Super Blue Moon eclipse!

Naughty Moon!

There were moments of extreme highs, and lows.  It's like one second you're doing the funky chicken dance, and being all happy, and the next minute you wanted to cry!
I'm not going to be in denial about it, especially with myself.  These full moons blessed us with some amazing energy.  One of the most important things is clearing out what no longer serves us so that better things can enter our lives.   So this emotional rollercoaster ride is all about looking deep within ourselves, see what we've tried to block out, sort through issues, and do some major self-spring cleaning!

It's not going to be easy, and it's not meant to be.  All that we are going through is teaching us about ourselves.  In order to heal and move forward, we have to deal with the "junk" that most times we don't want to face.
Either way, keep dreaming, focus on your goals, keep pushing forward.  Don't beat yourself up if things don't go as planned. Love yourself, laugh, be silly, quirky, and most importantly, DON'T GIVE UP! You can rest and recuperate, but don't give up!
